Stephen Rea has played major roles in more than forty films, including The Crying Game (1992), The Mission (1986), Dancing at Lughnasa (1996), Michael Collins (1996) and The Crying Game (1992). He was born in County Westmeath, Ireland, and moved to Manchester, England with his family as a child. He attended Radley College and studied drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
